way to the very top\, the Likii North Trek on Mount Kenya Sirimon Route pr
esents you with the perfect opportunity to do just that. Our hike starts w
ith a long road trip across 7 counties to get to Mount Kenya Sirimon Gate\
, with a further 9km drive in the park to our starting point\, Old Moses C
amp (3\,300m). The hike follows the traditional Sirimon Route path up to t
he Shipton's Camp junction\, and then takes a detour towards the Likii Nor
th hut\, a lesser-known path to the peaks on the Sirimon route. The trail
takes a gradual incline through heath and moorlands to get to the Likii No
rth viewpoint (3\,993m)\, where we catch an undistracted view of the peaks
on a clear day. After relishing moments in photos and a brief rest\, we'l
l take the same path all the way back to Old Moses Camp\, where we will bo
ard our vehicles back to Nairobi. Things to Keep in Mind This is a high-al
titude hike\, therefore\, come prepared to take it very slow from start to
finish so you have an enjoyable experience. Stop ascent if you feel unwel
l. The weather in the high altitudes changes fast. Please remember to pack
