 nzania border near the Namanga border is a series of hills named Ol Donyo 
 Orok (Maasai for "The Black Mountain"). Popularly known as Namanga Hills\,
  the hike to the top of the hills offers a rewarding day out for all adven
 ture lovers. There are several trails up the hills with varied difficulty.
  Our hike takes the most popular trail suitable for beginners and anyone l
 ooking for a good moderate challenge. The hike starts at the base of the r
 ange on the Kenyan side\, taking an initially steep\, rocky path\, to get 
 to a scenic viewpoint. Expect breathtaking views across the villages below
  and if the skies will be clear\, the magnificent views of Mount Longido a
 nd Kilimanjaro from a distance will take your breath away. The path then c
 ontinues into a serene forest\, with a dramatic switch from the fairly hot
  bushland to the cool\, calm\, fairly level forest walk. The trail then re
 connects to join a steep descent path\, taking you back to the starting po
 int. Things to Keep in MindNamanga is hot most of the year. Sun protection
  will go a long way\, and a sun hat or cap will be especially useful. The 
 footpaths up and down have some steep\, rocky sections. A trekking pole is
  useful but not mandatory. Some of the sections are also slippery in wet w
 eather\, so please ensure your shoes have a good grip.There are lots of sh
 rubs along the trail. Please wear a long-sleeved top or a light jacket to
